The modeling feature in MI Write allows teachers to model writing for their students.

1.  On your Home page, click your initials at the top of the page to display a drop-down menu.

2. Choose Switch to Student Model and click on the course name. A demo student account opens that looks and functions like an actual student account. You can model how to navigate in and use MI Write to plan and write essays, as well as demonstrate other features available to students, such as Lessons and Reports. 

3. On the Practice tab, your demo student account allows you to model the steps in the writing process for your students from planning to publishing, including the critically important revision process. 

4. Click the demo student’s initials and then select Switch to Teacher in the drop-down menu to return to your teacher Home page.
